Becoming a foster parent is a meaningful way to provide a safe, supportive home for children who need temporary care. Foster parents play an important role in helping children feel secure, supported, and valued during challenging times.

The first step in the process is to learn more about foster care and what it means to become a foster parent. We encourage interested individuals and families to attend our Foster Parent Orientation, where you’ll receive an overview of the program, requirements, and the application process. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how you can make a difference in a child’s life.

After attending the orientation, you can complete the foster parent application and begin the next steps, which may include background checks, training, and a home assessment.
